About Me

Hi, my name is Julia McConnell but I also go by Julie! You can call me either one. I'm a design leader, hair color chameleon and nerd with a love for all things that live on a screen who has been working in tech and games for over 10 years.

I'm currently working full time at Bungie as a UXUI Lead managing on an unannounced project. I'm a passionate, creative worker who is constantly on the lookout for challenges to tackle in the tech and gaming spaces.

When I'm not working I enjoy playing loads of video games and participating in all kinds of geekery, from D&D sessions to Brandon Sanderson novels. I also love trying out new recipes (and inevitably overseasoning them), spending time with my family and occasionally spending time unplugged by camping out in the woods somewhere.
